Gleichzeitig ist er Resident Fellow am <a href=\"#\">Center for European Studies<\/a> der Universit\u00e4t Harvard.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\" style=\"--awb-text-transform:none;\"><p>Dort gibt er jeweils im Herbstsemester als Visiting Professor einen Kurs im Economics Department. Dar\u00fcber hinaus ist er Mitglied der volkswirtschaftlichen Fakult\u00e4t der Universit\u00e4t Freiburg, von der er 2010 den Lehrpreis der Universit\u00e4t erhielt. Seit 2011 ist er Senior Advisor bei McKinsey. Er ist zudem Mitglied des Aufsichtsrates der Eurex Clearing AG, Frankfurt\/Z\u00fcrich (seit 2013) und Non-Executive Member of the Board der Caixa Geral de Dep\u00f3sitos, Lissabon (seit 2017).<\/p>\n<p>Bevor er zum CFS kam, war Prof. Kotz Mitglied des Vorstands der Deutschen Bundesbank (2002-2010). Zuletzt war er dort verantwortlich f\u00fcr die Zentralbereiche Finanzstabilit\u00e4t, M\u00e4rkte und Statistik. Er war zugleich Mitglied einer Reihe von Aussch\u00fcssen der Bank f\u00fcr Internationalen Zahlungsausgleich (BIZ), des Finanzstabilit\u00e4tsrats (FSB) sowie der OECD, wo er Vorsitzender des Finanzmarktausschusses war. Er war zudem der Stellvertreter der Deutschen Bundesbank f\u00fcr den G7- und G20-Prozess.<\/p>\n<p>Zuvor war Hans-Helmut Kotz Pr\u00e4sident der Landeszentralbank in Bremen, Niedersachsen und Sachsen-Anhalt (1992-2002) und Chef\u00f6konom bei der Deutschen Girozentrale (1984-1999). Zwischen 2002 und 2005 war er als Privatperson Mitglied der Expertengruppe f\u00fcr Finanzmarktstabilit\u00e4t des Europ\u00e4ischen Parlaments. Prof. Kotz hat breit ver\u00f6ffentlicht und ist \u00fcberdies in einer Reihe von akademischen Institutionen engagiert, z.
