CFS Panel Discussion

Since its introduction, the scope, depth, and costs of supervision by the Single Supervisory Supervision (SSM) have expanded significantly. The SSM has responded with its reform agenda at the end of 2025, aiming to become more efficient and to place a stronger focus on material risks. Together with our panel of experts, we will discuss, among other things, the following questions:

• How much supervision is necessary?
• What benefits do banks derive from more efficient supervision?
• How far has the SSM advanced with its project?
• Which aspects should the SSM further consider in its reform agenda?
