Deutsche Bank Prize in Financial Economics

The Deutsche Bank Prize in Financial Economics – one of the most highly endowed economics prizes worldwide – had the goal of strengthening international ties between financial research and practice. It was awarded from 2005 to 2015.

The Deutsche Bank Prize in Financial Economics, which is sponsored by the Stiftungsfonds Deutsche Bank, was awarded by the Center for Financial Studies, in partnership with Goethe University Frankfurt, from 2005 to 2015.

The prize honoured economists whose scientific contributions have decisively influenced research in the fields of finance, money and macroeconomics. The Stiftungsfonds Deutsche Bank endowed the award with 50,000 euros. An international jury of renowned experts selected the award winner from a multitude of nominations from leading economists and financial industry practitioners from all over the world.
